2006 AACA National Award Winning 1971 Jaguar XKE Series 2 28 April 2007 by jagman 2002 I began working on my 1971Jaguar XkE Series 2 Convertible. I decided after doing Restoration work for others over the past 40 years it was time to get my Jaguar done. I have owned the car for over 30 years.I had enjoyed the years of restoring other peoples cars and I still do. The awards and first place notoriety that my customers Antiques and Classics got was very rewarding, but it was time to get my Jag done. I spend 10-12 hours a day on this Jaguar and 4 years went by with alot of backaches,cracked hands that hurt and blood sweat and tears. I am proud to say that my Jaguar XKE was done on October 6th 2006 and went to the Hershey Car Show the following day.
